Developer Needed to Build Real-Time Dynamic Pricing System
Job Description:
We’Re looking for a software developer to build a system that automates price changes on items based on demand and external triggers (e. g. , sports scores, game outcomes, and other live events).
Project Scope:
We need a system that can:
1. Automate Dynamic Pricing: Adjust prices in real-time based on pre-set conditions (e. g. , demand spikes, sports scores, event outcomes).
2. Integrate with External Data Feeds: Pull live data from APIs (e. g. , sports scores) to trigger pricing changes.
3. Connect with Our POS System: Ensure price updates are reflected instantly in our point-of-sale system (we’re open to recommendations on compatible systems).
4. Admin Dashboard: Build a simple dashboard where we can manage pricing rules, monitor price changes, and manually adjust prices if needed.
Ideal Candidate:
You have experience building real-time systems and integrating external data. Specifically, we’re looking for someone with:
- Backend Development: Python, Node. js, or similar for real-time event processing.
- API Integration: Experience pulling and handling external data (e. g. , sports data feeds, financial APIs).
- POS System Knowledge: Familiarity with common point-of-sale systems and how to integrate with them.
- Database Management: Ability to track pricing history and customer interactions.
Nice to Have:
- Experience building systems for the hospitality or financial industries.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with webhooks and real-time data processing.
